A previously unreleased gem from the Bristol dub kings who brought you “Rwanda,” “Jah Jah Never Fail I,” “Rise Up,” “Love Like,” and the classic LP w/Rob Smith, “Time Will Tell.” Henry & Louis tunes are currently being remixed to devastating effect by the likes of Pinch, RSD and Mungo’s Hi-Fi.
Andy Scholes of Henry & Louis says of the tune:
“It was recorded in the legendary Vision Factory (2 Kings Studios) in 1997 by Henry and Louis with Prince Green, laid down on 16 track Fostex E16 and mixed through the 2 Kings’ Soundtrack desk, it brings the swirling vocal to life, a true rendition of the world according to Prince Green. The mix has the essence of Tubby’s , with the space and depth created by the tape echo and the EQ of the reverb, creating a warm, heavy sound. Overall a crucial testament to the early days Henry and Louis.”
